Purpose
- To Coordinate and oversee loading and dispatch activities to ensure timely and efficient operations while adhering to standard processes and procedures.
- Optimize delivery planning to prevent customer stock outs and maintain smooth logistics operations.
The Job
- Coordinate loading and dispatch activities in line with standard processes and procedures.
- Monitor customer schedules and proactively plan deliveries to prevent stock outs.
- Supervise and manage the dispatch team to prevent zero-value transactions.
- Engage registered transporters for truck allocation and optimize fleet usage.
- Minimize internal and external demurrage for dedicated trucks through efficient scheduling.
- Prepare and submit daily delivery load out reports for tracking and analysis.
- Notify corporate and dealer customers, as well as the sales team, about deliveries.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety rules and regulations in all dispatch activities.
- Evaluate dispatch performance metrics and implement continuous improvement strategies.

Qualification
- B.Sc. or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
The Person Must:
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be safety-conscious and ensure strict adherence to safety regulations.
- Have leadership skills with experience supervising or coordinating a dispatch or logistics team.
- Be detail-oriented, with the ability to track and report dispatch performance accurately.
