Responsibilities

Maintain accounting systems, processes, and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Ensure financial records meet all regulatory and tax compliance requirements.

Prepare and deliver timely month-end management accounts, including KPI packs.

Support year-end audit processes and financial reporting requirements.

Produce weekly financial management information for senior leadership.

Maintain and reconcile fixed asset registers, accruals, prepayments, and other accounting schedules.

Manage reconciliations for bank accounts, petty cash, foreign currency, and credit cards.

Prepare and submit statutory returns (VAT, withholding tax, pensions, etc.).

Oversee monthly payroll and ensure accuracy in staff compensation.

Provide support for purchase and sales ledger transactions as needed.

Monitor and manage debt control processes.

Lead budgeting and budgetary control processes.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.

Drive continuous improvements across accounting processes and controls.

Supervise and mentor Accountants and Senior Accountants, including staff appraisals, performance management, and training programs.
Requirements
-
First Degree and/or MSc in Accounting.
-
Certified member of ICAN/ACCA.

6–8 years’ core experience in accounting and management accounting.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience using QuickBooks.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial software (Oracle Financials or similar).

Excellent strategic planning, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.

Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams.
Salary
₦450,000 – ₦500,000 per month (Gross).
