Responsibilities:
- Edit direct response video ads using scripts, and briefs from the strategist/lead video editor.
- Cutting clips, adding subtitles and music, handling deliverables uploading
- Cutting clips includes
- Produce multiple ad versions (hooks, CTAs, subtitles, formats) for testing and performance
- Follow our internal SOPs and using our custom tools: scripts, automations, naming systems, and plugins
- Spot and fix basic editing or layout issues before they’re flagged
- Organize export folders and update deliverable spreadsheets (with one-click automation)
- Handle quick feedback and creative cycles – 1 business day turnaround expected for revisions or iterations of previous creatives
- Collaborate in async review cycles (Notion, Slack), and receive QA from the team
- Upload the videos you create to social media ad platforms like Meta & Tiktok
- Analyze data on your videos in Excel or Google sheets (after we provide you with training on how to do that)
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and CapCut
- Comfortable using Notion, Slack, and spreadsheets in a creative production workflow
- Passion for testing up and coming video production tools
- Fast learner who can follow our internal SOPs
- Reliable, responsive, and proactive – you ask questions when things aren’t clear and own your deadlines
- Self starter, Ability to work async with a US-based and International team
- Intermediate knowledge of excel
- 1-3 years of video editing experience
- A portfolio with a few examples of videos you’ve edited
Nice to have but not required:
- Prompting skills – familiarity with AI-powered tools (like Sora, Veo 3, and future generative video workflows) is highly welcome but not required
- Experience editing videos for Tiktok, Instagram Reels or Youtube Shorts
- Experience editing videos for advertising campaigns
