Job Summary

  • The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch, driving business growth, ensuring excellent customer service, and leading a team to meet performance targets.
  • This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and operational efficiency to ensure the branch’s profitability and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales:

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve deposit mobilization and loan disbursement targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to grow the branch’s customer base.
  • Promote the organization’s products and services to prospective clients.

Operational Management:

  • Ensure smooth daily operations of the branch, including customer service, cash handling, and administrative tasks.
  • Monitor and manage branch expenses and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise, train, and motivate branch staff to deliver high performance.
  • Conduct regular staff performance evaluations and recommend development plans.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally.

Risk Management & Compliance:

  • Ensure all branch activities comply with financial, legal, and ethical standards.
  • Monitor risk indicators and implement measures to mitigate financial and operational risks.

Reporting:

  • Prepare and submit regular reports on branch performance, targets, and challenges to senior management.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving branch performance.
