About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, driving revenue growth, and building long-term client relationships. This role requires a proactive and results-driven professional with excellent negotiation, communication, and strategic planning skills.

  • Port Harcourt: Onsite, Full-time

  • Lagos, Abuja & Ibadan: Remote


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet and exceed revenue targets.

  • Develop and implement effective business development and growth strategies.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to spot trends and opportunities.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to design tailored client solutions.

  • Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and reports.

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements in line with company objectives.

  • Track and report on sales pipelines, business development activities, and performance metrics.

  • Prepare weekly business development schedules and reports for planning and performance monitoring.

  • Follow up on major accounts and sales opportunities as assigned.

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of company products, services, offerings, and pricing.

  • Improve sales proposals and contribute to bid document preparation.


Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Social Sciences, Data Analysis, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.

  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of CRM tools is an added advantage.
