Job Description

  • We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving growth and expansion.
  • As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth across key market segments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential business opportunities, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Monitor industry developments, customer needs, and emerging trends to stay ahead of the curve and capitalize on new opportunities.
  • Develop and implement targeted lead generation strategies to identify and engage prospective clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Utilize a combination of outbound prospecting, networking, and digital marketing tactics to generate leads and create sales opportunities.
  • Leverage existing networks and establish new connections to expand the company’s reach and influence within the marketplace.
  • Identify new business opportunities, initiate business development activities, develop and manage key client relationships, amongst others.
  • Manage and execute the business development strategy, implementing tactical plans to help meet and exceed organizational expectations.
  • Maintain a strong development pipeline according to the targets/strategy to be implemented.
  • Using existing relationships with clients to generate new business
  • Keep up to date with the financial markets daily
  • Follow internal regulations and procedures
  • Complete the required training and development objective within the assigned time frame
  • Provide progress feedback to the management

Qualifications

  • A University Degree in a related field
  • 3 – 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Tech Savvy
  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Manager ( with logistics experience is an added advantage)
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals (own portfolio will be considered an advantage)
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Basic knowledge of technical and fundamental analysis
  • Ability to work on own initiative, expand, and generate business

Salary
N300,000 – N350,000 per month.
