Job Description: Business Development Manager
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us drive growth, build relationships, and expand our reach in international markets. You will be at the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.
Responsibilities: Business Development Manager
- Develop and execute a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships across various industries.
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions for clients
- Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople
Requirements: Business Development Manager
- Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role
- Proven sales track record
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
- Proficiency in English

- Communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build rapport
- Time management and planning skills
- BSc/BA in business administration, sales, or a relevant field
- Creativity and adaptability to navigate diverse business challenges effectively.
- Ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions.

- Experience in customer support is a plus
- Familiarity with African markets, including cultural nuances and business practices, is highly valued.
- Proficiency in additional African or international languages.
