Job Overview:
- The Business Manager will oversee the daily operations, financial performance, and overall success of the business. This role requires a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who understands the unique demands of running an upscale hospitality business, ensuring operational efficiency, profitability, and superior guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, lounge, and nightclub to ensure smooth execution of all business activities.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to enhance revenue, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards, maintaining a luxurious and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Manage budgets, financial reports, and cost controls to maximize profitability and reduce unnecessary expenses.
- Monitor sales performance, revenue trends, and profit margins, making data-driven decisions to improve business performance.
- Lead, mentor, and train staff, fostering a high-performing team that delivers excellence in service and operations.
- Implement effective marketing and promotional strategies to attract and retain high-value clientele.
- Establish and maintain relationships with VIP guests, influencers, corporate clients, and key industry partners.
- Oversee procurement and inventory management, ensuring quality, cost control, and proper stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with local hospitality regulations, food safety standards, and licensing requirements.
- Manage staff schedules, payroll, and performance reviews to maintain efficiency and team morale.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams to upscale the brand.
- Handle guest complaints and crisis management with a proactive and professional approach.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive insights, and emerging hospitality innovations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a senior management role within the hospitality industry, specifically in managing an upscale restaurant, premium lounge, or luxury nightlife venue.
- Strong understanding of business operations, financial management, and strategic planning in the hospitality sector.
- Proven track record of increasing revenue, reducing costs, and improving customer retention.
- Experience managing high-end clientele and VIP guests with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop employees.
- Knowledge of restaurant and bar operations, including food & beverage management and inventory control.
- Experience implementing customer experience strategies to maintain a loyal and high-spending customer base.
- Proficiency in POS systems, financial reporting tools, and hospitality management software.
- Strong negotiation skills for vendor management, contracts, and partnerships.
- Excellent problem-solving, crisis management, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-energy hospitality environment.
