Job Summary:
- As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing celebrity news content and long-form documentary footage, ensuring that the narrative is clear, engaging, and aligns with our brand’s vision.
- You will work closely with our content team to produce videos for YouTube footage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit celebrity news and documentaries when provided with script and voiceover.
- Maintain a strong understanding of trends in celebrity culture, entertainment news, and storytelling techniques.
- Work closely with producers and writers to ensure the final product is high quality and on brand.
- Incorporate motion graphics, sound design, and color correction into final edits to create polished, professional videos.
- Meet tight deadlines without compromising quality or accuracy.
- Be proactive with suggestions on improving editing processes or the final product.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience editing celebrity news content and documentary-style videos (Portfolio/Links required).
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar professional editing software.
- Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing, and content flow.
- Experience with color grading, sound mixing, and adding effects is a plus.
- Familiarity with various video formats and resolutions for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, etc.).
- High attention to detail and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working on tight deadlines and able to deliver high-quality results under pressure.
