Job Summary
- Reddington Hospital Group is seeking a qualified and experienced Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to join our multidisciplinary clinical team.
- The ideal candidate will provide high-quality specialist care in obstetrics and gynaecology, demonstrating clinical excellence, leadership, and a commitment to patient-centered service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert medical care in the management of obstetric and gynaecological conditions.
- Oversee antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care for patients.
- Perform surgical and non-surgical gynaecological procedures as required.
- Collaborate with other consultants, nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in clinical meetings, training, and case reviews.
- Ensure compliance with professional and ethical standards of medical practice.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS/MBChB) from a recognized institution.
- Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons (WACS) or National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
- Valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Minimum of 4 years post-fellowship experience as a Consultant O&G Specialist.
- Demonstrated expertise in both obstetric and gynaecological procedures.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
