Job Title: Data Entry Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Input and update data into computer systems, databases, and spreadsheets accurately
- Transfer information from paper documents, forms, and other sources into digital formats
- Verify accuracy of data by reviewing and cross-checking entries
- Maintain and organize electronic and physical filing systems
- Generate reports and extract data as requested by supervisors
- Scan, copy, and file documents in appropriate systems
- Perform data cleanup and correction tasks to maintain database integrity
- Follow data entry procedures and quality standards consistently
- Meet daily productivity targets and accuracy requirements
- Handle confidential information with appropriate discretion
- Collaborate with team members to resolve data discrepancies
- Assist with special projects involving large-scale data migration or cleanup
- Update customer information, inventory records, or financial data
- Create and maintain backup copies of important data files
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Fast and accurate typing skills (minimum 35-50 WPM with 98% accuracy)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Experience with database software and data entry systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Basic math skills for numerical data verification
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Patience for repetitive tasks and long periods of computer work
- Good vision and hand-eye coordination
- Reliable internet connection for remote work positions
