Job Description
- This is a full-time role for a Data Scientist at DrugStoc.
- The Data Scientist will be responsible for utilizing data science, statistics, data analytics, data visualization, and data analysis to derive actionable insights and support decision-making within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Interpretation:
- Analyze large and complex datasets to extract meaningful insights.
- Develop and implement statistical models and algorithms to identify trends and patterns.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to discover new opportunities for business improvement.
Predictive Modeling and Machine Learning:
- Build, test, and deploy predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
- Evaluate model performance and continuously improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Implement machine learning pipelines and workflows.
Data Visualization and Reporting:
- Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations that translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Collaborate with business units to understand their data needs and deliver relevant solutions.
Data Management and Engineering:
- Clean, preprocess, and transform raw data for analysis.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation.
- Work with data engineers to optimize data pipelines and storage solutions.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, marketing, and sales.
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to data analysts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience in interpreting and analyzing complex data sets
- Data Science, Statistics, and Data Analytics skills
- Data Visualization and Data Analysis skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
