Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and highly motivated Digital Content & Social Media Intern to join our team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about digital storytelling, content creation, and brand growth. You will be responsible for managing our social media platforms, creating engaging content, developing our content strategy, and ensuring that everything from visuals to copy aligns with our brand identity and helps us build a strong and consistent online presence. If you have a good eye for design, love creating content, and understand what works on social media, this is an exciting opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute social media strategies to boost engagement and brand awareness.

Create, edit, and publish high-quality content (videos, graphics, captions etc.) for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other platforms.

Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels.

Monitor trends, hashtags, and competitor activity to keep our content fresh and relevant.

Repurpose existing materials into fresh, valuable content formats.

Respond to comments, messages, and DMs in a timely, professional manner.

Track performance metrics and prepare weekly reports on engagement, reach, and growth.

Create and curate campaigns that drive engagement, sales, or brand awareness.

Collaborate on email newsletter strategy and content.

Post and manage blog content via Squarespace (reposts, updates).

Collaborate with the team to plan campaigns, promotions, and content calendars.

Assist in developing a visual and content style guide aligned with our brand identity.

Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:

Must reside in Lekki and its environs.

Strong content creation and editing skills (Canva, CapCut, InShot, Adobe tools etc.)

Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and online content best practices.

Excellent writing and speaking skills (friendly, clear, and professional tone).

Visually creative with a great eye for aesthetics and branding.

Trend-savvy (knows how to jump on relevant trends and formats quickly).

Familiar with social media ads, brand identity, and content strategy.

Experience with tools like Canva, Google Suite, Later/Planoly, and optionally Squarespace.

Proactive and self-motivated able to take initiative and lead social efforts.

Analytical, uses insights to inform decisions and improve performance.

Familiarity with HR, recruitment, or employer branding content (Preferred but not required) .
