Job Summary
- The English Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English Language instruction, fostering literacy, communication skills, and critical thinking in students. The ideal candidate will manage classroom activities efficiently, maintain discipline, and inspire a lifelong love of reading and writing.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the approved English curriculum effectively across assigned classes.
- Maintain proper instructional and classroom management standards.
- Oversee and maintain educational equipment and learning resources.
- Promote student engagement, active participation, and mentorship.
- Collaborate with colleagues to foster innovation in teaching methods.
- Conduct regular assessments and report student performance accurately.
- Participate in school meetings, extracurricular activities, and academic planning sessions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Minimum of 4 years’ teaching experience in a reputable institution.
- Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with modern teaching tools and digital learning platforms.
Salary
N250,000 – N300,000 per month.
