Job Summary
- We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our team at Howbury School.
- The ideal candidate will inspire and guide students in their mastery of the English language while fostering creativity, critical thinking, and a love for learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the curriculum.
- Develop students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress regularly.
- Incorporate innovative teaching methods and integrate technology where appropriate.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and school activities.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- A teaching qualification (e.g., PGDE, TRCN certification) is an advantage.
- 2+ years proven experience teaching English, preferably in a school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
