Job Summary
- A hospitality and events-focused hotel in Aba is seeking an experienced Events Centre / Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations and revenue growth of its Events Centre and associated facilities.
- This role is hands-on, performance-driven, and suited to a proactive individual with strong event management and marketing capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Events Centre.
- Market and promote event services to attract new clients.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute events such as weddings, conferences, workshops, and exhibitions.
- Liaise with clients from enquiry to event delivery.
- Oversee facilities, garden operations, and event setup logistics.
- Manage short-stay luxury apartments, including bookings and guest coordination.
- Support general hotel operations when required.
- Prepare basic marketing, operational, and performance reports.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess an HND qualification
- Must currently reside in Aba, Abia State.
- Proven experience in event management, hospitality operations, or a related field.
- Computer literate and comfortable using digital tools.
- Strong online marketing and customer engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple activities.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
Salary
Up to N150,000 per month (all-inclusive).
