Stand With A Girl (SWAG) Initiative is a registered youth led organization dedicated to ensuring that every girl in Nigeria no matter where she is born or found is empowered to fulfill her maximum potentials.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Finance Assistant
Location: Lagos
Key Responsibilities
- Support the creation of organizational forecasts.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliation.
- Support developing monthly and yearly financial reports
- Support the auditing of organizational account
- Support quarterly organizational internal audits for Finance and administration operations.
- Support the development and processing of organizational payroll
- Support the development of the organization and donors’ budget.
- Support/ refine accounting financial management tools in line with organization priorities annually.
- Support in preparing the organization’s budget.
- Provide general financial and administrative support.
- Contribute to project activities and other organizational tasks.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor`s or HND Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Prior experience in accounts with a non-governmental organisation.
- 1-2 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping.
- Excellent skill in mathematics and numerical accuracy and a commitment to girls and youth empowerment.
- Skills in accounting software will be an added advantage.
- Capable of managing multiple financial tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Ability to communicate clearly with finance teams, vendors, and other departments regarding financial matters.
