Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Freight Operations Supervisor to oversee our freight operations team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our freight unit, ensuring efficient and safe transportation of goods, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of freight operations staff, including drivers, dockworkers, and administrative personnel
- Plan, organize, and monitor freight operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, optimize processes, and improve efficiency
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in freight operations, transportation, or logistics
- Proven supervisory experience and ability to lead a team
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Knowledge of transportation regulations, including guidelines and agencyregulations
Salary
N300,000 Monthly.
