Overview
- We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at our Lekki (Ikate) branch.
- The ideal candidate must have prior experience working in a community pharmacy, possess strong interpersonal and dispensing skills, and demonstrate a commitment to providing quality healthcare services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately
- Provide professional advice on the proper use of medications and possible side effects.
- Counsel patients on drug interactions, lifestyle, and preventive health practices.
- Monitor inventory levels, ensure proper stock rotation, and manage drug expiries.
- Maintain accurate patient medication records and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Supervise and train pharmacy technicians, interns, and attendants.
- Ensure the pharmacy operates according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ethical practices.
- Liaise with healthcare professionals and suppliers to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree.
- Current and valid license with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a community pharmacy.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in the use of pharmacy software and inventory systems.
- Must reside within or around Lekki/Ikate axis.
