Job Title: Geographic Information System (GIS) Analyst
Location: SSC P-Numan, Adamawa
Job Summary
- The Geographic Information System (G.I.S) Analyst shall collect analyse and present spatial data to enable geospatial decision making in DSR Numan.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate all topographic and digitalization mapping activities during land preparation and any other area or remote sensing activities in the company.
- Report to land development manager all the job plan and daily success.
- Coordinate and supervise the activities of G.I.S Team.
- Mapping and Visualization: prepare, analyst and produce topographic and digital maps for land development and Agricultural purposes.
- Computation and designing of farm demarcations through rows per hectare to enable the preparation of field completion report.
- Calculate, analyse and transform survey field data to a simple report to enable decision making.
- Connection and configuration of GPS/GNSS and monitoring all Auto guided Vehicle-based operations.
Educational Qualifications and Work Experience
- B.Sc. Or HND Surveying and Geo-informatics, Geo-spatial Engineering or other related courses
- Professional Certification is an added advantage.
- 5-10 years working experience.
