Job Summary

  • We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Engineer Trainee (Electrical) to join our engineering team.
  • This role is designed for fresh graduates who are eager to build a career in electrical engineering within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • The trainee will undergo structured on-the-job training, gain hands-on experience, and support senior engineers in operations, maintenance, and projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical faults.
  • Monitor electrical performance and provide reports under supervision.
  • Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.
  • Work with senior engineers on ongoing projects and technical improvements.
  • Learn and apply industry standards, codes, and best practices.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned during the training program.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • B.Eng / B.Sc. in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related field.
  • Fresh graduate or maximum 1 year post-NYSC experience.
  • Strong academic foundation in electrical principles, systems, and controls.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
  • Resides around Ikorodu/Odogunyan axis (added advantage).

Competencies to Develop:

  • Practical exposure to electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Project execution and reporting skills.
  • Knowledge of industrial safety standards.
  • Team collaboration and problem-solving abilities.
