Job Summary
- We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Engineer Trainee (Electrical) to join our engineering team.
- This role is designed for fresh graduates who are eager to build a career in electrical engineering within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- The trainee will undergo structured on-the-job training, gain hands-on experience, and support senior engineers in operations, maintenance, and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical faults.
- Monitor electrical performance and provide reports under supervision.
- Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.
- Work with senior engineers on ongoing projects and technical improvements.
- Learn and apply industry standards, codes, and best practices.
- Perform other related duties as assigned during the training program.
Qualifications & Requirements
- B.Eng / B.Sc. in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related field.
- Fresh graduate or maximum 1 year post-NYSC experience.
- Strong academic foundation in electrical principles, systems, and controls.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Resides around Ikorodu/Odogunyan axis (added advantage).
Competencies to Develop:
- Practical exposure to electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Project execution and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards.
- Team collaboration and problem-solving abilities.
