Job Title: Grants, Business Development & Partnership Specialist

Job Summary:
  • The Grants, Business Development & Partnership Specialist will lead fundraising efforts, to secure strategic partnerships, and manage grant processes for a non-profit organization dedicated to equipping young people across Africa with the skills, knowledge, and resources to become visionary leaders.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and securing funding opportunities, building strong relationships with donors and partners, and driving business development initiatives.
  • The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and experienced in grant management, business development, and partnership building.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, apply for, and manage grants, ensuring compliance with donor requirements.
  • Develop compelling grant proposals, reports, and funding applications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, funding agencies, and corporate partners.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth through partnerships and business development.
  • Research and identify new funding opportunities and alternative revenue streams.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Funding Growth – Increase in funding from grants, partnerships, and business development activities.
  • Proposal Success Rate – Percentage of submitted proposals that result in funding.
  • Partnership Development – Number of new strategic partnerships formed.
  • Donor & Partner Engagement – Frequency and quality of engagement with funding agencies and partners.
  • Compliance & Reporting – Timely and accurate grant reporting, ensuring full compliance with donor requirements.

Requirements:
  • Interested candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in grant management, business development, and partnership building.
  • Proven track record of securing funding through grant writing and fundraising.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and research abilities to identify funding opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment.

Salary:
N400,000 monthly. (Negotiable)
