Role Overview
- We are seeking a highly experienced Group Accountant to manage group-level financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance across multiple entities.
- The ideal candidate must be chartered and have prior experience operating at group or holding-company level.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and consolidate group financial statements in line with IFRS.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes across subsidiaries.
- Oversee inter company transactions and reconciliations.
- Develop and enforce group-wide accounting policies and controls.
- Coordinate statutory audits and liaise with external auditors and regulators.
- Support management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Banking & Finance, or related field.
- 5 – 7 years relevant accounting experience (group-level experience is a strong advantage).
- Chartered Accountant (ICAN / ACCA – mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Remuneration
N800,000 Gross Monthly.
