Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Hatchery Manager to oversee day-to-day hatchery operations. The ideal candidate will manage people, processes, and equipment to ensure consistent production of high-quality day-old chicks at optimal costs.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate hatchery activities, personnel, and production schedules.

Monitor and ensure proper maintenance and repair of hatchery equipment.

Guarantee strict adherence to biosecurity and health & safety standards.

Plan and execute egg setting, transfers, hatch, orders, and truck loading.

Maintain and manage weekly hatch schedules with precision.

Supervise, train, and mentor hatchery employees to maximize productivity.

Ensure consistent hatch results while minimizing costs.

Analyze operations, identify problems, and implement corrective measures.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Sciences, Agriculture Science (Animal Production), or related field.

Minimum of 5–6 years’ experience in commercial hatchery management.

Strong technical knowledge of hatchery machines such as EMKA, INDIAN, VET 7, etc.
Skills & Competencies:

Solid understanding of poultry physiology and embryology.

Proven track record of achieving consistent hatch results.
-
Strong leadership, supervisory, and mentoring abilities.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
-
High attention to detail and a systematic, methodical approach.

Good communication and people management skills.
Technical Skills:
-
Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant software.

Knowledge of Chick Master, Petersime, PasReform, and Eggsactly systems.

Competence in hatchery maintenance and operations.
