Role Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Admin and HR Unit to lead the Foundation’s administrative and human resources functions.
This individual will drive HR strategy, oversee talent management, foster a positive organizational culture, and ensure smooth administrative operations across the institution.
Key Responsibilities
Administration

Oversee office management, procurement, logistics, and asset management.

Maintain updated inventory records and ensure effective utilization of resources.

Coordinate travel arrangements, workshops, and organizational events.

Supervise service contracts, office leases, and vendor management.

Ensure proper filing and documentation of administrative records.
Human Resources
-
Manage recruitment, selection, onboarding, and exit processes.

Maintain accurate HR records while ensuring data protection and confidentiality.

Oversee staff performance management and appraisal processes.
-
Administer employee welfare, benefits, and leave management.
-
Support capacity development initiatives and training programs.

Ensure HR compliance with Nigerian labor laws and organizational policies.
Compliance & Reporting

Liaise with Legal and Finance units on compliance-related issues.

Prepare and present periodic reports on HR and Admin activities.

Ensure adherence to organizational procurement, HR, and administrative policies.
Qualifications & Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field (Master’s degree or HR certification is an advantage).

Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in HR and Administration roles, with at least 3 years in a supervisory/lead role.

Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.

Proven leadership, organizational, and people management skills.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in MS Office and HR software tools.
