Job Title: Head of Operations

Job Description
- The Head of Operations will oversee HBA’s daily operations and ensure the strategic execution of its vision to empower healthcare leaders and transform healthcare delivery across Africa.
- This role requires a dynamic leader with exceptional organisational, strategic, and interpersonal skills to ensure the seamless functioning of HBA’s programs, partnerships, and business operations.
Responsibilities
Operational Leadership & Strategy:
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with HBA’s mission and growth objectives.
- Lead the development of scalable processes to support new programs, market expansions, and partnerships across Africa.
- Monitor and analyse performance metrics, adjusting strategies to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Program Management & Execution:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of all educational programs, including executive classes, webinars, and partnerships.
- Ensure high-quality delivery of programs through effective resource allocation and coordination with faculty and facilitators.
Financial & Administrative Oversight:
- Manage HBA’s budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximise profitability and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with financial, regulatory, and operational standards across all functions.
Team Management & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Work closely with team members to ensure that all initiatives are implemented in line with strategic goals and timelines.
Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, universities, and business leaders, to expand HBA’s reach and influence.
- Drive partnership strategies to foster bilateral agreements, such as the Executive MBA program with the University of Ibadan.
Marketing & Growth Initiatives:
- Support the development of marketing and customer engagement strategies, ensuring HBA’s visibility and brand positioning in the healthcare sector.
- Oversee initiatives such as fundraising, particularly the $150k campaign for operations, marketing, and business partnerships.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in operational leadership roles, preferably in healthcare, education, or nonprofit sectors.
Skills:
- Strong strategic planning and project management skills.
- Excellent financial management and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to foster partnerships and drive business growth.
- Proficiency in CRM, digital marketing, and operational tools.
Preferred Attributes:
- Proven track record in managing large-scale projects or academies.
- Experience working in diverse, multi-stakeholder environments across.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to HBA’s mission of healthcare transformation.
Salary
N700,000 – N800,000 monthly.
