Job Summary
- The Head of Research & Innovation for West Africa will lead the development and implementation of innovative dairy products tailored to the West African market.
- This role involves managing a team of six people based in Accra and Ibadan, overseeing research projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Nutrition, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in research and development, preferably in the dairy industry.
- Proven track record of leading successful product innovation projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and quality assurance practices.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Adaptability and resilience in managing changes such as currency fluctuations and inflation.
- Be comfortable with P&L.
