Job Summary:
- We are seeking a detail-oriented health information officer to manage and maintain accurate patient records, ensure data security, and support healthcare decision-making.
- The ideal candidate will oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of health information to improve service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, process, and manage patient health records in compliance with medical and legal standards.
- Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and proper storage of health information.
- Analyze health data for reporting and decision-making.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve record-keeping and data management processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant health regulations and standards, including NHMIS (National Health Management Information System).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management, Medical Records, or a related field.
- Certification from the Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria (HRORBN) is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) and medical coding systems.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
