Job Specification

  • Unlocks consumer trends and market data, transforming them into actionable insights that
    fuel business growth through data-driven strategies.
  • Creating systems and processes for collecting, storing, and sharing information and
    insights gathered from various sources, including internal databases, market research,
    customer feedback, and industry trends.
  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive knowledge management
    strategy for the FMCG business.
  • Oversee market research, customer feedback analysis, and social media listening to
    identify trends and opportunities.
  • Leverage data analytics tools and techniques to extract meaningful insights from
    various data sources (sales data, market research reports, etc.).
  • Translate complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights for stakeholders
    across all departments (marketing, sales, R&D, etc.).
  • Identify growth opportunities for the business based on market and customer insights.
  • Develop and maintain a central knowledge repository to ensure all have access to the
    latest information.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure insights are effectively integrated
    into business strategies and initiatives.
  • Track and measure the impact of knowledge and insights on key business metrics.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in knowledge management and data
    analytics.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to capture, organize, and disseminate
    knowledge & insights, leading to consumer strategy within the organization.

 

 

 

Education/Qualification:

  • MBA (Marketing) from a University/Business School/Institute of repute.
  • Excellent analytic and numeracy skills
  • Mastery in all areas of Consumer Research
  • Strategic Thinking
  • Communication, Presentation & IT Skills
  • Requires minimal supervision.

 

 

Experience

  • 15+ years in leading Market Research Agencies or in the Knowledge & Insights function of
    CPG companies of repute, having handled clients & projects across diverse industries,
    including FMCG, Fintech, Telcos etc.
  • Should have demonstrable skills & mastery in all aspects of consumer research and strategy.
  • Experience in using AI and other cutting-edge technology in the Knowledge & Insights space,
    for leading brands will be appreciated.
