A leading diversified energy services provider is looking to engage an HR Officer.

Job Title: HR Officer

Functionally reports to: HR Specialist/HR Manager

Job Location: Lekki Phase 1

Deadline for submission: Friday, April 4, 2025.


JOB OBJECTIVE(S):

The objective of the Human Resources Officer is to assist with recruitment, benefits, and all human resources processes.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Updating HR internal databases, employee records and information like contact details and employment forms.
  • Ensuring new hires documentations are accurate, scanned in the one drive and securely placed in their file.
  • Assisting with HR operations and HR services to employees.
  • Responsible for employee’s leave administration. Supporting employees by providing answers to their questions and addressing their issues. Serving as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related enquiries, addressing and resolving employee issues and conflicts promptly.
  • Working with the HR team to create and instate a sound recruitment process to fill company job vacancies.
  • Assist in interview processes when necessary.
  • Provide assistant in organizing departmental goals, timely activities and company’s events.
  • Support and participate in the implementation of special projects to improve processes and practices where necessary.
  • Assist in implementing HR systems and technologies.
  • Process retirement documents and archive exit interview reports for exiting employees.
  • Support the completion of all tasks required upon retirement, contract completion, or termination of all employees.

Education, Experience, and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management/social sciences from a reputable University.
  • Experience as a junior HR role is a plus.
  • Familiarity with HRIS is an added advantage.
  • Currently undergoing CIPM with basic understanding of HR Processes.
  • Proficient in MS Office suites.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Must have high initiative, integrity, strong work ethic, good communication and analytical skills.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with a record of prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.
  • Preferably female, for gender balance.
