Job Purpose
- To provide recruitment support to the Consultancy Unit in hiring 4,427 Technical Assistants for the Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention (SMC) under the PF-SMC Project.
- This support will focus on all recruitment-related activities specific to consultancy roles, including sourcing, screening, shortlisting, and coordination throughout the selection process.
Scope of Assignment
- The PF- SMC project is implementing the SMC implementation requiring the rapid recruitment of a large number of short-term workers. To ensure a smooth and timely recruitment process, we seek the services of two consultants with expertise in high-volume and field-based recruitment.
- To provide technical and operational support in the recruitment of short-term workers, ensuring an efficient, transparent, and compliant process aligned with Malaria Consortium’s HR policies and donor guidelines.
Activities for the Recruitment Support Staffs:
- Support in the reviewing, sorting of all applications to provide a suitable longlist in line with the Terms of reference (ToR).
- Prepare and publish job advertisements.
- Receive and organize applications using appropriate tracking tools or platforms
- Conduct preliminary screening of applicants based on agreed criteria.
- Support with CV evaluation and fee Setting for consultant engagement
- Ensure all recruitment activities adhere to Malaria Consortium’s HR policies and donor compliance standards
- Maintain proper documentation including longlists, shortlists, interview notes, and scoring sheets.
- Support in drafting offer letters and contracts as requested.
- Submit a detailed final report summarizing the recruitment process, outcomes.
- Support with preparing consultant payment documents.
- Any other HR duties as assigned.
Deliverables from the Recruitment Support Staff:
At the end of the assignment, the expected deliverables include:
- Provide all long listed and short-listed CVs and evaluation forms
- Ensure proper documentation of all support provided
- Ensure all recruitment documents including Longlist, shortlist, CV Evaluation, Fee Setting and other personnel documents are collated and forwarded as required.
Profile Requirements of the Recruitment Support Staff
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- 3-5years’ experience in a HR generalist role
- Prior experience in a similar level role
- Experience in human resources or administration
- Experience in record keeping/management.
- Experience in high pressure recruitment is preferred
- Knowledge of Nigeria employment law.
- Own Personal Working Tools.
