Job Description
- We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead the Human Resources function of our organization.
- The ideal candidate must possess a strong background in HR operations, regulatory compliance, payroll management, and general administration.
- This role requires someone who can align people strategy with business goals, ensure compliance with labor laws, and promote a productive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements and maintain effective liaison with regulatory bodies such as PENCOM, ITF, NSITF, NHF, and relevant labor agencies.
- Manage and supervise accurate and timely payroll administration, taxes, and employee benefit deductions.
- Provide strategic support and guidance to leadership on HR policies, labor laws, disciplinary processes, and organizational structure.
- Drive HR initiatives that support organizational development, staff engagement, and talent retention.
- Maintain updated records on all employee files, HR documentation, and HRIS system.
- Develop and enforce administrative policies and procedures that ensure efficiency across the organization.
- Manage workplace safety, health, and employee welfare programs in line with legal standards and best practices.
- Prepare HR reports and analytics for management decision-making.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5–7 years progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
- Demonstrated experience in payroll management, dealing with regulatory bodies, and administrative leadership.
- In-depth knowledge of Nigerian labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Professional HR certifications (e.g., CIPM, SHRM) will be a strong advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of discretion, integrity, and organizational ability.
- Proficiency in HR software, Microsoft Office Suite, and reporting tools.
