Job Scope
- The HR Officer will support the HR department in implementing policies, managing employee relations, and handling day-to-day HR operations.
- This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of HR generalist experience who is eager to grow their career in human resources within the oil and gas industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and orientation of new employees.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Support payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Handle employee queries and provide guidance on HR policies.
- Assist in performance management and appraisal processes.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Coordinate training and development programs.
- Prepare HR reports and documentation as required.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in an HR generalist or HR officer role.
- Familiarity with HR best practices and compliance requirements.
Desired Skills & Competencies:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Knowledge of HR processes and Nigerian labor laws.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR software tools.
