Job Duties/Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes
- Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures
- Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
- Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across all subsidiary businesses to develop solutions.
- Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects, including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
- Managing and coordinating inputs from a range of IT team members and stakeholders
- Keeping up to date with the most recent technologies and advising on what new technological solutions and their implementation will meet business and systems requirements
- Managing and responding to hardware or software malfunctions, and arranging replacements or repairs
- Conducting regular system audits and software performance testing
- Ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systems
- Manages software licenses across all subsidiaries
- Preserve assets, information security, and control structures
- Oversee annual budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.
Job Details
- Oversee the information technology infrastructure, and implement IT strategy in alignment with the strategic business objectives of the organization.
Requirements
- Education Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Information Technology, Computer Science, Eng, Electrical Eng Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited university. A master’s degree will be an added advantage. Professional Qualification: At least 2 certifications from MCSA, MCSE, MCIPT, CCNA, ITIL, CCNP, CCSE, COBIT, CBAP, PMP etc. Experience
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience working in the information technology Department
- Experience in leading and managing IT Department in a well-structured organization.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry will be an added advantage.
