We are recruiting to fill the positions below:

  1. Account Officer
  2. Front Desk Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

 

1. Account Officer

Responsibilities

  • Document and Report on all financial transactions of the company.
  • Effectively manage Company’s cash flow and recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
  • Analyze/summarize financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other key management reports.
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
  • Accounts Payable: Assist in processing vendor invoices, matching them with purchase orders and receiving documents.
  • Accounts Receivable: Support in invoicing clients for services rendered. Assist in monitoring accounts receivable balances and following up on overdue payments.
  • General Ledger Entries: Assist in recording daily financial transactions in the general ledger, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Financial Reporting Assistance: Support in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Assist in analyzing financial data and preparing variance analysis reports.
  • Compliance and Audit Support: Assist in ensuring compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Support in providing documentation and information for internal and external audits.
  • Taxation Support: Aid in gathering information and preparing documentation for tax filings and corporate income tax returns.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with corporate financial goals and accurate forecasting of costs and revenues.
  • Track project expenditures, ensuring they are within the approved budget and that any variances are identified and investigated. Implement cost-control measures to optimize project efficiency.
  • Track and report on capital expenditures associated with projects, ensuring that CAPEX is within approved limits and accurately reflected in financial statements
  • Prepare monthly financial report to Management.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive company financial information with discretion.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics or a related field.
  • Possession of a relevant professional certification – ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in project accounting, financial planning, budgeting, preferably in an architectural or construction company.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control.
  • Experience with joint venture accounting, cost recovery, and financial management in the Architectural design and construction industry.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards. – GAAP, IFRS, etc.
  • Experience with general ledger functions
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • Strong financial decision making skill.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management skill and ability to be proactive at all time.

Salary
N100,000 – N200,000 / month.

 

2. Front Desk Officer

Job Description

  • AL-Truehand Better Design Limited is an architectural and a multidisciplinary design and construction company focused on providing premium design and achievable solutions. With a strong belief that everyone deserves better design in their spaces. We focus on all kinds of designs and renovation, turnkey delivery, interiors, finishing and furnishing and general.
  • We are seeking a professional and friendly Front Desk Officer to join our Administrative team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and excellent service. You will manage the reception area, handle inquiries, and provide administrative support to ensure smooth office operations.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests with a positive, courteous and professional attitude.
  • Answer and direct all phone calls in a professional manner.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide information about services of the company.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, document management and correspondence.
  • Manage and maintain all office supplies.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.
  • Manage all meeting agenda and maintain the meeting rooms.
  • Receive and sort all incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Maintain records of visitors and manage the visitor’s log books.
  • Provide administrative support to the management team as needed.
  • Manage and maintain all office supplies and inventory
  • Ensure timely payment of bills and renewal of subscriptions.
  • Manage and maintain the asset register.
  • Support proper monthly spot check of office asset.
  • Manage and maintain the store inventory.
  • Carry out any other duty as assigned.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, or other relevant fields.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years practical work experience in a front desk or administrative role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skill and ability to be proactive at all time.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Excellent Customer service experience. A certification in customer service is an added advantage.
  • Have an understanding of architectural design and experience in construction industry is a plus.
  • Must be Tech Savvy and also have an understanding all social media platforms.

Salary
N80,000 – N150,000 / month.
