Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Junior Architectto join our team.
- The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 – 2 years of experience in quantity surveying and procurement within the construction industry.
- This role is crucial for managing the procurement process and ensuring the delivery of projects within budget and timeline constraints.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of architectural designs and concepts under the guidance of senior architects.
- Create detailed architectural drawings and renderings using CAD software and other design tools.
- Participate in site visits and client meetings to gather design requirements and assess project progress.
- Conduct research on materials and construction methods to support design decisions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure that projects adhere to budget, timeline, and quality standards.
- Contribute to the preparation of project proposals, presentations, and reports.
- Assist in coordinating with engineers, planners, and other consultants to ensure a cohesive approach to the design.
- Stay updated on architectural trends, technologies, and regulations.
Measurable Feedback
- Success in the role will be assessed based on key performance indicators (KPIs), including:
- Timeliness and accuracy of project deliverables.
- Feedback from senior architects and team members on collaboration and design contributions.
- Quality of design proposals and presentations submitted for client review.
- Involvement in successful project completions within budget and schedule.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from a recognized PRIVATE UNIVERSITY (preferred).
- Relevant certifications or coursework in sustainable design, urban planning, or related fields are a plus.
Experience:
- Internships or 1-2 years of experience in architectural practice or related fields are preferred.
- A portfolio showcasing design projects and technical skills is required for review.
Competencies:
- Strong proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and creativity in design thinking.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
