Job Description:
- Our client is seeking a Junior Site Engineer who is motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow professionally. This role involves assisting the Senior Site Engineer in monitoring and inspecting construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- It’s a great opportunity for entry-level civil engineers to gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to monitor construction progress, identify defects, and ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
- Quality Control: Assist in implementing quality control measures to meet required construction standards.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of site activities, including inspection reports, site diaries, and correspondence.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with the Senior Site Engineer, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
- Health & Safety: Enforce health and safety regulations on-site, reporting any incidents or concerns to the Senior Site Engineer promptly.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 0-2 years in a construction or engineering role.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other relevant engineering tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Certifications:
- Relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
Salary
N150,000 per month (Gross)
