Duties
- Planning: Plan routes, schedules, and budgets
- Managing inventory: Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels
- Transportation: Select drivers, negotiate rates, and schedule shipments
- Shipping: Process shipments, handle imports and exports, and ensure safe delivery to airport for export & pickup from the airport for import .
- Supply chain: Analyze supply chain operations for inefficiencies and recommend improvements
- Customer service: Respond to customer queries and ensure customer satisfaction
- Safety: Ensure compliance with safety standards and implement safety protocols for processing export goods.
- Staff management: Supervise and train the logistics team. Assign tasks and follow-up with staff to ensure productivity .
- Reporting: Review reports for accuracy and maintain metrics to assess performance
- Negotiation: Negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, drivers, despatch riders , retailers, and consumers.
Requirements
- HND / OND / B.Sc Degree with 2 years of experience.
- Great communication skills.
- Attention to details and good customer service skills.
- Ability to use Microsoft and Google suite tools( ExcelSheets, Docs, PPT
- Able to use basic graphics design tools- Canva, Inshot , CapCut.
- Proximity to Oregun Ikeja is a plus.
Work schedule:
- Mondays to Fridays 9am to 6pm.
- Saturday is 8am to 1pm.
Benefits
- Salary: N210,000 monthly.
- 50% of salary as 13th month
- Bonus payment for Saturdays.
