We mostly work for institutional investors, international lenders, private equity and venture capital investors (including angel investors & HNIs), government investment funds and fund managers.
Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role as a Managing Associate at Balogun Harold Legal located in Lekki.
- The Managing Associate will be responsible for overseeing and managing legal projects, conducting research, drafting legal documents, negotiating contracts, and providing legal advice and guidance to clients.
- Additionally, the Managing Associate will be involved in business development activities, client relationship management, and mentoring junior associates.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in corporate/commercial law practice
- Expertise in any of the Technology, Infrastructure, and Energy sectors
- Experience working with institutional investors, international lenders, and private equity investors, will be an added advantage
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and legal research skills
- Ability to provide sound legal advice and guidance
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to mentor and supervise junior associates
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field; Master’s degree is a plus
- Qualified to practice law in Nigeria
