Job Summary

  • The Marketing Officer is responsible for driving customer acquisition, brand visibility, and revenue growth through strategic marketing and client engagement efforts.
  • This role involves identifying business opportunities, promoting the company’s FX services to prospective clients, and managing customer relationships.
  • The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of financial products, especially foreign exchange services, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and onboard new clients for forex transactions (corporates, SMEs, and high-net-worth individuals).
  • Manage and nurture existing customer relationships to retain and grow client base.
  • Educate potential clients on the BDC’s services, exchange rates, and compliance requirements.
  • Serve as a client liaison, ensuring prompt resolution of inquiries and complaints.
  • Assist in executing marketing campaigns across digital, print, and outdoor platforms.
  • Promote the brand through targeted outreach, including cold calls, social media, emails, and client visits.
  • Distribute promotional materials and ensure the company’s presence at relevant events or forums.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content for awareness and lead generation.
  • Monitor FX market trends, client preferences, and competitor offers.
  • Provide feedback on market conditions and customer needs to guide business strategy.
  • Identify new business opportunities and niche markets for expansion.
  • Track and report marketing and sales performance metrics.
  • Ensure all client engagements comply with CBN, AML/CFT, and KYC regulations.
  • Collect and verify required client documentation for account setup and onboarding.
  • Work with compliance to ensure clients understand their reporting and regulatory obligations.

Requirements And Qualifications

  • Minimum of a BSc. Or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably in financial services or BDC operations.
  • Understanding foreign exchange services and regulatory framework is a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge of Crypto, USDT, is an added advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal, networking, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

Salary
N500,000 Monthly (Gross)
