About The Role:
- The Marketplace Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the marketplace.
- This role involves maintaining accurate product data, updating inventory, coordinating with vendors and restaurants, and managing essential marketplace communications.
- The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in vendor management and operational support.
- This is an associate level role.
Key Responsibilities:
Data & Inventory Management:
- Accurately input and update product details, pricing, and availability on the marketplace platform.
- Conduct routine inventory checks and coordinate with vendors to ensure stock accuracy and timely updates, minimizing order cancellations.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in product listings, pricing, and availability to maintain marketplace integrity.
Vendor Coordination & Communication:
- Serve as the primary contact for vendors, ensuring clear and professional communication regarding orders, pricing updates, stock availability, promotions, and platform compliance.
- Work closely with vendors to confirm and update product details, preventing discrepancies and order cancellations.
- Assist in onboarding new vendors by collecting necessary information and ensuring seamless integration.
Operational Support:
- Collaborate with the customer service team to address vendor-related customer concerns and ensure swift issue resolution.
- Support promotional activities by coordinating vendor participation and ensuring alignment with campaign objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, E-commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in similar role is required
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of data accuracy.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
- Basic understanding of pricing structures, taxes, and marketplace dynamics.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or other data management tools.
- Strong multitasking abilities and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in e-commerce, vendor management, or marketplace operations is a plus.
