The British International School (BIS) is a leading Nigerian International Secondary School, situated on a large purpose-built campus in the heart of one of Africa’s liveliest cities. We offer a broad and balanced education to students aged between eleven and eighteen. The school is co-educational and accepts both day students and boarders.


Responsibilities:
  • Plan lessons and prepare teaching materials for your subject.
  • Set up the classroom, organise displays and resources; teach whole class lessons and do practical activities.
  • Directly work with your faculty director/line managers.
  • Provide a safe and healthy environment and follow safeguarding procedures.
  • Keep academic records of students.
  • Talk to parents about their children’s progress.
  • Attend meetings and trainings that are beneficial to the school.
  • Organise outings, after school clubs, school social activities and sports events.

Requirement:
  • Required to have an IGCSE Certificate and have taught in an AISEN school.
