Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment used within the sugar refinery.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and inspections on mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to improve processes and enhance production efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze equipment performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of capital projects and upgrades.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and technical staff on best practices in mechanical engineering.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a mechanical engineering role, preferably in the manufacturing or construction industry.
  • Proficient in technical engineering software and tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, equipment maintenance, and repair processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices in mechanical engineering.
