About Christian Miracle Hospital
Christian Miracle Hospital is an NHIS-accredited fibroid, ovarian cyst, appendicitis and maternity hospital in Nigeria; established in 1992. We are located at No. 3 Akutu Crescent office Pascan Jake bus stop opposite Pine Crest School Enugu,Independence Layout Enugu state. We offer the best gynaecological, fertility and maternity services to our clients and patients. Our in-house laboratory is quality assured, and our dispensary stocks quality drugs and other medical consumables. We run antenatal clinics and fertility clinics every Tuesday.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
- Medical Doctor
- Registered Midwife
1. Medical Doctor
Location: Enugu
Responsibilities
- To provide a continuous on-site medical support to meet the needs of patients. This includes emergency procedures and routine medical services in all clinical areas. The medical officer will work on a shift basis, and will be provided a call duty room in the hospital premises. He/she will report to the Chief Medical Dfficer (CMD). He/she will carry out any other duties assigned by CMDfrom time to time.
- Patient care
- Pre- and post-op care
- Demonstration of high-level skill with interpersonal relationships and communications.
- Excellent interpersonal and management skills.
- Good diagnostic acumen and sound knowledge of evidence-based medical practice.
- Strong services philosophy and leadership skills.
- Coordinate regular health management audits in liaison with the quality management team so as to maintain the standard of healthcare
Qualifications and Experience
- MBBS with valid registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCAN).
- Strong interest and Surgical skills in Obstetrics and Gynecology will be an added advantage.
- Candidate should normally be resident in Enugu state, Nigeria.
2. Registered Midwife
Location: Enugu
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Description
- Perform professional nursing care for patients admitted to the clinic.
- Maintain skill and knowledge by participating in various nurse education programs, seminars, staff meetings and workshops.
- Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports.
- Administering medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions.
- Prescribing assistive medical devices and related treatments.
- Recording patient vital signs and medical information.
- Ordering medical diagnostic and clinical tests.
- Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
- Administering non-intravenous medications.
- Assessing, implementing, planning, or evaluating patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
- Modifying patient health treatment plans as indicated by patient conditions and responses
Qualifications
- Minimum academic qualification of a Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Midwife (RN), or Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.NSc).
- 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in the health sector is desired.
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria and must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife or Registered Paediatrics Nurse
- Experience in Perioperative nursing is desirable.
- Must have the ability to work, Monday thru Friday (full-time)
- Basic computer skills.
- Professional, friendly attitude.
- Experience in home health care.
- Candidates should be born again with good moral values; and living within new Haven, Independence layout, Ogui road, or IMT/Polo axis
- Experience in emergency room or intensive care.
- Trained in Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR and be Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certified.
- The ability to work with minimum supervision is an advantage.
