Role Description
- This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Laboratory Scientist located in Abule Egba. The Medical Laboratory Scientist will be responsible for performing laboratory tests, analyzing samples, preparing and maintaining laboratory records, and ensuring quality control to support efficient diagnosis and treatment.
- The role also includes maintaining equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide accurate results for patient care.
- This is a 3-month locum contract with the strong possibility of conversion to a full-time position for the right candidate.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
- Licensed by the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN)
- Proficiency in performing laboratory tests and analyzing biological specimens
- Experience with maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring quality control standards
- Familiarity with safety and infection control protocols within a healthcare setting
- Strong documentation and record-keeping abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with medical staff
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure
- Applicants must reside in Abule Egba or within a commutable distance.
