Job Summary:
As an Order Taking Sales Agent, your role will be crucial in providing exceptional customer service by receiving inbound calls from customers and efficiently processing their orders. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure customer satisfaction while identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products, thereby maximizing sales revenue. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the invoice inbox and SMS inbox, ensuring accurate and timely order processing.
Responsibilities:
- Receive inbound calls from customers and assist them in placing orders.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Process orders accurately and efficiently in the system, ensuring all relevant information is recorded correctly.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products to enhance customer experience and maximize sales revenue.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide product information, availability, and pricing details to customers.
- Actively listen to customer needs and offer suitable product recommendations to meet their requirements.
- Manage the invoice inbox and SMS inbox, promptly responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues related to orders.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about the company’s product offerings to effectively answer customer questions and provide accurate information.
- Liaise with internal teams, such as inventory management and logistics, to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the system.
- Strive to meet or exceed individual and team targets for order processing, upselling, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably in order processing or call center environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to multitask and handle high call volumes while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and order processing software.
- Familiarity with CRM software is desirable.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
