Job Summary
- We are seeking a passionate and patient-centered Pharmacist to join our team.
- In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and effective medication use for our patients, collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Review and dispense prescriptions, meticulously verifying accuracy and potential drug interactions.
- Provide comprehensive medication counseling, educating patients on proper medication use, side effects, and interactions.
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop and implement personalized medication plans.
- Stay informed about new medications and evidence-based practices through continuous learning and professional development.
- Contribute to a positive and patient-focused environment, cultivating strong relationships with colleagues and patients.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the smooth operation of the pharmacy.
Requirements and Skills
- Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the state board of pharmacy.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, ensuring medication safety and efficacy.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach, prioritizing individual needs and well-being
