Job Summary
- We are seeking for a Pharmacist who will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and ensuring that patients receive the medication they need.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough reviews of prescription orders to ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and potential interactions.
- Provide comprehensive drug information to walk-in clients, including dosages, proper usage, and potential side effects.
- Assist in developing and implementing pharmacy policies and protocols related to medication management.
- Monitor the client’s responses to prescribed medications and recommend adjustments as necessary.
- Participate in training and supervising pharmacy support staff to ensure compliance with best practices and safety standards.
- Maintain meticulous records of medication dispensing and client interactions.
- Stay current with developments in pharmacology and healthcare regulations.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Pharmacy
- Minimum of 2 yearsof relevant work experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
- Valid and up-to-date Pharmacy license from the appropriate regulatory body in Nigeria.
Required Skills / Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to provide clear patient education.
- Proficiency in computerized pharmacy systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to maintaining accurate records.
- Effective problem-solving skills and a collaborative team-oriented approach.
- Detailed understanding and knowledge of dosage requirements and administration, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands.
- Strong selling and interpersonal skills
- Team work.
Salary
N180,000 – N210,000 monthly.
