Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled and dependable Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy operations in Lekki (Ikate).
- The ideal candidate will assist the pharmacist in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the pharmacy.
- The role requires accuracy, professionalism, and a solid understanding of pharmaceutical processes and ethics.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the pharmacist in dispensing prescription and over-the-counter medications.
- Accurately package, label, and record medications dispensed.
- Maintain proper stock levels and assist in inventory management.
- Receive, check, and arrange pharmaceutical supplies on shelves.
- Ensure medications are stored properly according to standard regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the pharmacy.
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers and patients.
- Assist in monitoring expiry dates and removing outdated drugs.
- Support administrative duties such as documentation and record keeping.
- Adhere to pharmacy policies, ethical standards, and safety procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
- National Diploma (ND) in Science Laboratory Technology, Pharmacy Technician Certification, or equivalent.
- Must possess a current license from the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) as a Pharmacy Technician.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in a community or retail pharmacy.
- Good knowledge of pharmaceutical products and dispensing procedures.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Must reside within or around Lekki/Ikate axis.
Working Hours:
- Shift-based, including weekends and public holidays.
