Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly organised, analytical and detail-oriented individual to join our team.
  • S/he will be responsible for coordinating rule and policy making process for Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and supporting NGX RegCo in its provision of rules/policy development, guidance, advisory and related services to all relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating end to end process of developing and/or amending rules, regulatory policies and frameworks.
  • Interpreting existing and proposed rules, as well as address related enquiries, for benefit of all relevant stakeholders.
  • Conducting regular research, building relationships and leveraging existing relationships with all relevant stakeholders, to ensure best practices.
  • Writing comment letters on existing and proposed SEC rules, policies or any other regulation or law pertaining to NGX Group and relevant stakeholders.
  • Supporting promotion of services and activities of NGX RegCo as required.
  • Monitoring and reporting on general developments in Capital Market.

Requirements

  • HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Finance, Economics, or any related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ cognate experience in either legal, regulatory/compliance, or relevant role.
  • Strong understanding of securities laws, with solid knowledge of Investments and Securities Act 2025, SEC Rules, NGX Rules, and CAMA 2020.
  • Good knowledge of Capital Market.
  • Sound business and legal judgment.
  • Excellent presentation, problem solving and communication skills.
  • Excellent Time management and Project Management skills.
